The plastic surgeons at the Mater Hospital provide treatment for patients who have had:

We operate on approximately 200 people every year and see 500 outpatients.  We are the national specialist in craniofacial and brachial plexus surgery, and we run a large and busy breast reconstruction service.

Criteria for referral to brachial plexus injury unit

• All brachial plexus injuries
• All major peripheral nerve injuries not improving at three months
