Ophthalmology (Eye Department)

We provide outpatient, inpatient and emergency services for a range of eye conditions. 

Our team of 16 consultants specialise in assessing and treating all medical and surgical eye diseases, including:

• Cataract

• Glaucoma

• Corneal and external eye disease

• Ocular tumours

• Eyelid disorders

• Strabismus

• Vitreoretinal conditions, including diabetic eye disease and age-related macular degeneration, neuro-ophthalmic disorders and ocular inflammation

We also provide an eye emergency department for emergency eye injuries or conditions.
