Coronavirus (COVID-19) Patient & Referral Information
The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital is running a reduced service. In the interest of safety, we ask that you please do not come to the Radiology reception with a referral letter, unless you have been given an appointment date and time. We hope to resume normal service as soon as it is deemed safe to do so.
Referrals will be accepted by post, fax and email. Referrals will be triaged and urgent referrals will be scheduled as soon as possible.

Making an appointment
To make an appointment for an X-ray, please send your X-ray referral letter to the radiology department and we will then contact you with an appointment date.
You can deliver your referral letter by post, fax or in person.
- Post it to: The Radiology Department, Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Eccles Street, Dublin 7.
- Fax it to: (01) 803 2970.
- Drop the referral letter in to the reception desk at the Radiology Department (Whitty Wing, Level 2). The reception desk is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.
When we receive your referral and book you in, we will then send you out an appointment letter, which you must bring with you to your appointment.
