Areas of expertise:
Gynecologic Imaging, Prostate Cancer Imaging and Brachytherapy, Breast Imaging and biopsy, Dynamic Pelvic Floor MRI, Abdominal Imaging, Image-guided biopsy and other interventions.
Was involved in setting up first Brachytherapy program for the treatment of prostate cancer in Ireland and has been involved in performing over 1000 prostate Brachytherapy cases.
Author of an anatomy textbook and over 40 research publications.
Local education co-ordinator for the Radiology training program at the Mater University Hospital and lecturer in the Faculty of Radiology, RCSI.
