Biography
Dr. Murphy completed Higher Specialist Training in Cardiology, administered through the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland (RCPI), Dublin.
As part of this training she undertook a one-year clinical Fellowship in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation in the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital.
Dr. Murphy then pursued further subspecialist training in advanced cardiovascular imaging techniques completing a two-year Fellowship including Structural Echocardiography, Cardiac and Vascular Computed Tomography, Cardiac Magnetic Resonance imaging and Nuclear Cardiology in Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts.
