Biography
Associate Prof. Fionnuala Ní Áinle acts as Clinical Lead in Thrombosis, Haemostasis and Maternal Haematology within the Department of Haematology. She is a founder member of the MMUH Venous Thromboembolism Working Group and Maternal Medicine Working Group with her multidisciplinary colleagues. With Assoc. Prof Patricia Maguire, she co-directs a translational research group, "SPHERE" at the University College Dublin (UCD) Conway Institute where she holds an Associate Clinical Fellowship and is a Principal Investigator. Since her appointment, she has been awarded several competitive research funding awards, including prestigious awards from the Health Research Board and Science Foundation Ireland.
